Top 5 typical factory renovation and expansion projects by DELCO
1. Renovation of the factory floor at DORCO Vina, Hung Yen
The floor settlement renovation project, covering an area of nearly 14,000 m² and including the construction of a two-storey parking structure within the premises of an operating packaging printing factory, posed very high requirements in terms of technical solutions and construction management. DELCO developed an appropriate structural solution that met the stability requirements of the printing line, while also designing a foundation system separated from the workshop floor and using elastic materials at the separation joints to limit the impact of vibration and settlement. The entire construction process was tightly organized to ensure the schedule and to minimize any impact on the factory’s production activities during the renovation & repair of the workshop.
2. DOOSAN Electro-Materials factory

This MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) project was executed while the factory remained fully operational, with a tight timeline of only two months and very limited workspace. The biggest challenge was installing large-diameter pipes on an existing panel ceiling, intertwined with existing MEP systems. DELCO maintained strict safety and quality control to ensure precise, neat, and integrated installations.
3. Power Plus Technology factory – Phase 2
The Phase 2 expansion workshop was located adjacent to an active production area, where space constraints limited the use of large pile-driving equipment. DELCO selected a suitable structural solution that ensured both the safety of the new workshop and the structural integrity of the entire factory, maintaining long-term safety.
4. Channel Well Technology factory – Phase 2
Expanding a three-storey workshop within the Phase 1 site posed challenges in lifting materials to higher floors. DELCO had to carefully plan construction methods and combine manual labor in several stages to maintain both quality and schedule without affecting the factory’s operations.
5. Renovation of ANNEX electronics factory
This renovation was carried out while the electronics component factory was in full operation, requiring DELCO to strictly control space and scheduling to avoid disrupting production lines. Construction zones were clearly separated, with designated routes for material transportation and storage. Additionally, multi-layer dust and noise shielding systems were deployed to minimize environmental impact.
