Bac Giang – a bright spot of investment for Korean businesses
The arrival of many “giants” such as JA Solar, Sumimoto, Samsung, Foxconn, Luxshare… investing in factory construction in Bac Giang shows the province’s attraction to FDI investment.
According to the Department of Planning and Investment, in April 2024, Korea is currently the leading country in the number of investment projects in Bac Giang province with more than 365 projects, ranked third in total . Korean enterprises account for about 25.8% of the total industrial production value of the province’s FDI sector. The number of employees working in Korean enterprises accounts for more than 23% of the total number of employees in FDI enterprises in the Bac Giang province.

Seojin Vietnam Co., Ltd (Song Khe – Noi Hoang Industrial Park) has only been in operation for more than 2 years, but has made a great contribution to the state budget. Mr. Maeng Heesoo, Director of the Company said: “Thank you for the support of the local government in epidemic prevention and control, and in guiding safe production and business. On average, the company supplies about 350 million products per year.”
Project “Hana Micron Vina Production Factory” of the Owner Hana Micron Inc – a 100% Korean investment capital company, with registered capital of 351 million USD implemented in Van Trung Industrial Park, is one of the largest FDI attraction projects in 2021 in Bac Giang.

Bac Giang support and provide optimal conditions for RoK investors
On April 7, Bac Giang province held a conference to meet Korean organizations, businesses and entrepreneurs. At the conference, provincial leaders directly listened to the aspirations, suggestions and recommendations of Korean businesses, affirming that Bac Giang continues to improve the investment and business environment; strengthen support, create the most favorable conditions so that foreign investors in general and Korean investors in particular can trust and rest assured to invest in the province.
Bac Giang hopes that in the near future, the province’s plans that are being implemented will become reality, that is: Bringing Korean language into teaching in high schools; established an industrial park of Korean enterprises, with many housing areas for Korean experts and workers in Bac Giang; the cooperation relationship between Vietnam and Korea in vocational training, general education, etc. will continue to be implemented and reap success.
