DELCO continues to demonstrate its expertise in industrial construction with a new fit-out project for an auto parts factory in Hai Phong. All items are executed under strict procedures, complying with regulations on construction safety and finishing quality.

Fit-out and upgrade of a two-storey factory

Located in Dai An Industrial Park, Hai Phong, this project began in late August 2025 and was set to be completed within just 83 days . DELCO takes charge of the entire scope from design to fit-out construction of a ready-built factory for lease, upgrading it from a one-story to a two-story building, combined with cleanroom installation. The project is expected to complete on a tight schedule of just 83 days.

The greatest challenge of the project is that the entire steel structure assembly and construction of over 1,000 m² of deck floor take place inside the existing ready-built factory. The DELCO team develops suitable erection methods and construction plans to both protect the current structure and ensure no impact on surrounding production activities.

In parallel with the structural works, DELCO also designs and builds an inspection room that meets cleanroom standards equivalent to Class 10,000, serving the factory’s electronic equipment inspection process. The room is equipped with 4 air handling units (ACU 200,000 BTU), together with fire-resistant panel walls and ceiling. In addition, the entire factory ceiling is designed to withstand loads that allow movement and technical operations above.

Safety-first construction – the project’s top priority

As a factory producing EV components for the global supply chain, the project required high standards in technical specifications, construction safety, and finish quality. Therefore, all construction activities in the project are strictly controlled, from work processes and construction methods to risk prevention measures.

From the start, DELCO develops an overall safety plan for the entire project, including risk analysis, emergency response procedures, and control of each construction item. All personnel involved undergo safety training and are fully equipped with protective gear before entering the site.

DELCO also strictly complies with plant access control regulations, ensuring only qualified personnel are permitted to work on-site. Each construction zone is marked with warning signs, dedicated pathways, and monitoring systems to minimize risks.
