Top most popular finishing materials in Vietnam

Not only does it help increase the aesthetic value of the project, but some finishing materials also have advantages such as waterproofing, fireproofing, effective insulation, etc., helping investors optimize operating costs.

Elastomeric paint

Elastomeric paint is often used for factory exterior walls because of its outstanding properties: the ability to cover small cracks well, high elasticity and adhesion to the surface, which helps prevent mold and is effectively waterproof. Besides, elastomeric paint can prevent carbonation and deterioration of cement, helping to increase durability and lengthen the work’s lifespan. Especially, this type of paint does not contain toxic substances such as lead and mercury, ensuring safety for workers during construction.

Fire-resistant paint

Fire-resistant paint is an Acrylic-based paint, with high temperatures (800 – 1300 degrees Celsius) resistance capacity. When exposed to fire, the paint film will blister and produce a bubble layer that slows down the heating process of the building structure, thereby preventing fire spread, prolonging the time for firefighters to arrive, and minimizing damage to people and property. Above all, when the painted surface is exposed to fire, it does not emit ash, smoke or toxic gasses that affect human health. Fire-resistant paint also has effective heat insulation and anti-adhesion properties and can be used on the surfaces of many materials such as wood, steel, brick, etc.

Paint effects

To make walls more vivid and eye-catching, using paint effects is the solution many businesses choose. This type of paint has distinct patterns and veins which can change color according to light and is used to decorate many buildings, offices, houses, etc. The resulting product has many outstanding advantages such as high aesthetic value, a smooth surface that makes it easy to clean; short construction time and quick drying helping investors save costs significantly.

Corten steel

Corten steel, also known as weather-resistant steel, is often used in outdoor architectural works such as wall cladding, decoration, sculpture, fences, etc. This type of steel with low carbon content contains a small amount of elements such as chromium, nickel, copper, etc., to help protect steel in all weather. Corten steel has heat, abrasion and weather resistance from 2 to 8 times higher than regular carbon steel. When exposed to air, the steel surface will automatically form an anti-corrosion layer to help protect and extend the lifespan of the steel up to 80 years without protective coating spray. The rusting process of corten steel is usually 3 – 6 months depending on the environment. However, we can use an activator solution to accelerate the coloring process.

Low E glass

Low E glass is one of the materials with high insulation and low emissivity thanks to a thin metal layer on the glass surface, which minimizes heat exchange between inside and outside, helping stabilize room temperature thereby saving energy significantly. In addition, Low E glass can block solar radiation, UV rays, and protect the interior designs; prevent condensation on glass surfaces and optimize natural light for effective construction.

Acrylic plastic sheet

Acrylic plastic, usually in the form of sheets or pieces, is a type of flexible plastic that is highly durable, lightweight and easy to construct. This material is often used for wall cladding, partitions, and roofing because it can withstand high heat, resist UV rays and water, and effectively prevent the spread of fire. Above all, the product has a reasonable price to help investors optimize material costs during the construction process.

Interior Film

The interior film has a built-in adhesive layer, used on surfaces such as walls, doors or other interior items. Not only is it more aesthetic and durable than regular decals and stickers, but the interior film also has anti-mold and antimicrobial effects, suitable for Vietnam’s hot and humid climate. However, workers must properly clean the material’s surface during construction to avoid air bubbles, leading to the film peeling off after a period of use.

Wood fiber tile

Made from ingredients such as cement, wood fiber, and water, wood fiber tile has effective noise protection properties. With properties that can regulate humidity and absorb heat quickly, this product helps cool the air in the room, protects workers’ health as well as saves energy significantly. This is also one of the green materials that help protect the environment, in line with the current trend of green development and sustainable development in Vietnam.

Quartz floor tile

Quartz floors are considered a material with high durability and aesthetics. Using quartz floor tile helps investors avoid warped and molded floors like regular wooden floors. Some quartz floor tiles are applied with dual G-UV coating technology to double the floor protection layer, helping to increase the hardness and color durability of the floor. In addition, this type of floor has a high gloss and dust resistance, making it easy for workers to clean.

Anti-static vinyl tile

Anti-static vinyl tiles made from plastic, carbon fiber, stone powder, etc., can insulate and create static electricity, minimizing the risk of electric shock, fire, or explosion. Besides, vinyl tile has advantages such as high durability, effective anti-scratch, anti-slip and anti-mold, and does not contain DOP or lead, so it is extremely environmentally friendly. This type of tile is often used in the electronics industry, telecommunications technology, hospitals, etc
