DELCO has many years of experience as a Design – Build Contractor for FDI factory projects, both in the field of Construction and Industrial M&E. We focus on durability, aesthetic suitability and functionality in the design and construction process. Important items are calculated in detail to ensure safety, stability and meet legal standards for each manufacturing industry.

Factory construction costs will fluctuate greatly according to the requirements of technology solutions, industry specifics, material requirements, applicable standards, etc. We try to estimate an early cost for the investor to take an overall look and choose the most suitable design-build plan.

HOW LONG IS A FACTORY CONSTRUCTION QUOTATION VALID FOR?
A Factory construction quote usually has the same effect as bids, often specified in bids. Depending on the contractor, this period of validity can last from 30 days – up to 180 days.
During periods of continuous price fluctuations in the building materials market, it is up to the bidders to propose different price quotes, or offer price adjustment terms.
DOES A CONSTRUCTION FACTORY QUOTATION TYPICALLY INCLUDE THE COST OF OBTAINING PERMITS?
The quotation and construction progress of the factory usually do not include the cost and time of applying for a permit (Fire Prevention Permit, Environmental Permit, Construction Permit…).
WHICH FACTORS WILL AFFECT THE CONSTRUCTION COST OF A FACTORY?
Besides the main factors such as design options, material solutions, the cost of building the factory will depend on progress requirements, machinery and equipment layout, technical requirements from the investor.
In addition, in recent years, there have been many changes in regulations and standards applied in plant design and construction such as QC06: 2022/BXD, Law on Environmental Protection 72/2020 with Decree 08/2022, QC01:2021/BXD on construction density, etc. that regulate in detail requirements for fire protection systems, building density, environmental protection systems and so on. Therefore, the cost of building a factory has great fluctuations among production industries or different production scales.
